This post makes me wish I still had my Tom Haverford icon from "The Camel". A PIECE OF ART CAUSED ME TO HAVE AN EMOTIONAL REACTION. IS THAT NORMAL? There's just something about those shapes!

I'm not a huge fan of Rothko particularly, but I've had similar reactions to the works of Pollock and Kandinsky. I'm not sure I could articulate why the shapes on their canvases cause an emotional reaction in me, but they do.
