2014: year in review
There is literally no one here anymore - I'm not here myself tbh. But I like doing these lists each year and it feels nice and nostalgic to post it here. My livejournal time was important to me and I still love it a lot. I kind of like keeping a little record of how much I've changed over the years here.
This is the first year I haven't been keeping a list of movies I watch and books I read so I'm gonna be forgetting a LOT of them.

(for the first time in pretty much as long as I can remember I hardly watched any tv. So these are the only things I really kept up with.)

all the old faves; The National, musicals etc
I discovered 8tracks? So a lot of mixes.
Celebrity crushes
still Jensen Ackles I'm afraid (does Dean Winchester count? urgh)

2013 is the year that I
Got my first real adult job with a paycheck
quit film school for good, started library school
dated a guy like a real person? Kissed a guy? Also broke up with said guy.
went on holidays to London, Rome, and Djerba
really disliked Rome and Djerba
had some serious ups and downs, which is an improvement of last year, which was almost all downs, but which can still get really shitty
but let's not disregard how nice it is to be able to feel really happy with myself sometimes
had a big fight with a good friend for the first time in a long time
still read way too much fic and not enough books
last year I wanted to
Get over myself and DO THINGS : partly, yes. It's still hard for me but I'm working fulltime, go to class two nights a week, and have a pretty okay social life.
get a job: YEEEAAAHH GO ME :D
write: Not nearly as much as I wanted to, but I wrote some poems, one longer blog post that I need to edit and post, and worked on my novel ideas so it could be worse.
kiss someone: Yeah I did!!
have a definite plan for the future: keep writing/go for another career and have a plan for when to move out: Well 'plan for the future' is a bit definite, but I decided to not pursue that writing-as-a-career thing, do sth else, and I have a vague timeline for moving out.
keep being this close to the girls: definitely!
stop wasting time: could do better
This year I want to
Have more happy periods than bad ones
work on my skills that will get me ahead: blog writing, languages, computer stuff etc
get a new job or at least one lined up
pass all my classes
have a plan for when to move out
try harder to support the people I love
