A friend of mine taught me to knit, so I'm afraid I don't have specific learning resources - I've mostly just been googling for gifs of stitches if I don't remember how to do them.

I have joined Ravelry, which I'm enjoying because I can filter potential projects by how easy they are, and I've found that starting out with a couple of small projects that I could finish quickly helped with having a sense that I was accomplishing something.
