Guyyssss Critical Role is SMASHING Kickstarter records! OVER 6.5 MILLION DOLLARS!!! ANIMATED BRIARWOOD ARC!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
In other Critical Role news, I recently bought some big fanart prints to hang on my wall - the fanart in this fandom, for those of you who don't know, is insane, it's as gorgeous as any professional art I've seen. I tweeted a picture out earlier and tagged the artists because I know they like seeing their art on people's walls, and Matt Mercer liked my tweet so I quietly freaked out for a minute!
I have to stop myself from just talking about how grateful I am to have found this show and this fandom in every post I make.

More book meme questions!
2. Best bargain.
I take a lot of books home for free when the library gets rid of them! There are gems in there sometimes.
3. One with a blue cover.
I have to base this on what's currently on my shelf, so let's go with Broken Harbour by Tana French - not my favourite of hers, but I love everything she writes so it's still great. It's probably the most sinister and creepy of her Dublin Murder Squad series and one that really got under my skin - part of the plot is about a man who becomes convinced something is living in his walls and his attic. The trope of a stranger secretly living in your walls is probably my worst nightmare? Just thinking about it now is freaking me out.
4. Least favorite book by favorite author.
Hm. One of my favourite authors is Hilary Mantel, and my least favourite of hers is Beyond Black - it just didn't grip me the way most of her other novels have.
5. Doesn't belong to me.
I used to buy a lot of books, but since I work in a library and have a Kindle, I only buy the ones I really care about or new releases by authors I already love. On my Kindle, I mostly buy thrillers and fantasy to read on holiday or on the train. And everything else I get from the library if we have it - I almost always read in English so sometimes we only have the translation into Dutch but not the English version, in which case I usually have to buy it.
