The ultimate tragedy of television ;). I have to admit, part of me is kind of glad it ended when it did because when the season ended everyone was alive and happy. It being a Joss show, it was a guarantee that it would not remain that way for much longer. But of course, it is one of if not THE most brilliant show I have ever seen, so it being cancelled is just unfair. I think I've explained why it is brilliant as well as I can in my Epic Firefly Love Post, so if you're still not watching it, I don't know what to tell you anymore. 
Even my film professor loves it! XD

It was really nice that everybody was alive and well at the end of Firefly, yeah. But I found it hard to make a real distinction between the series and Serenity so ...it didn't feel so much as a happy ending to me, I guess? But it was indeed a real shame the show didn't get a better chance. Did I see your Epic Firefly post? *off to read*

The thing is, what I hate most about character death is not the death itself (though I did cry my eyes out watching Serenity) but more what comes after: how the others go on without the one that died. And there was that planned storyline in Firefly of Inara having a fatal disease that I'm sort of glad we never got to.

Yeah, I do like these kinds of memes! You should try it if you have time. :)

I saw the title of the first day and immediatley thought: "that will be Firefly!" And I was right! But you're totally right of course, I mean it was just MADE OF AWESOME! And yes, our professor loved it! Oh My God that was SUCH a funny moment!
