2 exams to go! I have no idea how it's been so far. Apart from grammar (which I know I failed) I have no idea if I passed my exams or not. Today's went alright, I think, but it could just be an impression. It's happened before that I thought I'd pass for sure and I ended up with an 8.

Day 22: Favourite series finale

That's easy: Life on Mars. It's the most beautiful, ambigious, perfect ending to a show I've ever seen.
Because all throughout the 2 seasons, there is this confusion about what you're supposed to be rooting for. Clearly Sam wants to go home, but we have gotten to know this new world and really quite like it. And of course, we don't even know if it's real!
But then he does get back, and he doesn't know if it was real. But it doesn't matter, because he can't feel anything in 2006.

That scene at the end, from the moment Life on Mars starts playing, and he goes up to the roof, and the camera pans around and he does that little smile,and then he runs.... just ♥ ! Perfect!


I still have to finish AtA. It will take a few months at this rate :/

Day 23: Most annoying character

When I first read this a few weeks ago, I knew I was going to go for Sue Sylvester from Glee. It's probably my biggest unpopular fandom opinion that I don't worship the ground she walks on. But to be honest, in the final, I kind of started to like her (and before that as well, just a bit). But I still don't find her all that funny. Sorry.


I don't really have anything to say about The Lodger. James Corden was good, Matt Smith was hilarious and wore a towel, the plot was very WFT? and I'm excited for next week.

i share your opinion on Sue Sylvester completely. the past couple of weeks she annoyed the hell out of me, she was bearable in the finale :)

I'm so glad there are other people who don't like her that much! I liked what she did in the final, but I doubt this means she'll be better next season.

I know what you mean when you talk about Life on Mars. I'm rooting for Gene and Annie all the way, but at the same time there's this uncomfortable knot in my stomach that says: this does mean that he's dead... Or not? I don't know...

And sorry, but I don't watch Glee *hides* Even though I know I should. xD

You shouldn't watch Glee, really. I mean, I quite like it and it's entertaining, but it's hardly the greatest show ever. I love the songs, but the plots do tend to bore me.

Yeah, the Life on Mars thing is totally ambiguous. Which is why I love it...

I usually like my endings more clear-cut, but it's the best ending they could have come up with, IMHO.
