I.Veronica is facing off against Eleven. I LOVE Doctor Who, as you know, but I am asking you all to VOTE VERONICA!!

Because she is amazing and fierce and strong and sassy, and I love her more than pretty much any character, ever. That includes all DW characters. She needs all the votes she can get!




II. Glee was interesting this week! It was pretty much equal parts bad and amazing:


The bad: I really need Will Shuester to just go away. And be replaced by someone new but awesome (or NPH if he ditches himym!). I am not interested in his life at all and he only manages to annoy me more any time he gets a storyline. And I only liked Emma because she had the good sense to marry John Stamos, like, who wouldn't? But now they're going BACK to Emma-is-in-love-with-Will and I don't want that. I do not watch Glee for the ships, obviously, but I still prefer it when the plots are watchable! Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't annoy me as much as she does some people, but I still don't need her in the show.

The good: Burt is still an awesome dad (I almost typed "most awesome dad ever" but CLEARLY that's Keith Mars. Another reason to vote Veronica!). There was Darren Criss - 'nough said.
And then there was Santana. I love Naya Riviera: she's absolutely gorgeous, she has a great voice, and now she's shown what a good actress she is. She SOLD that! If I trusted this show at all, I would get invested in her storyline. But knowing Glee, I doubt there even is a storyline, and if there is it'll be disappointing. But still, seeing her realise she's in love with Brittany and give that speech: good tv. I can't remember the last time Glee made me like a non-singing scene that much.

I don't watch Community but al the gifs and videos have me already liking Troy, and I do vote for him. I do it comes down to that, though I'm afraid of the power of the Doctor Who fans (being one myself and all).

Also, Glee: I love Burt, so hooray! Every time he stretches his 'awesome dad!' muscles I either start crying or laughing - good times :D

I basically agree with your analysis of Naya Riviera's performance. She's so friggin awesome. My favourite glee songs usually feature her voice rather prominently: Valerie, Bad Romance, Heads Will Roll/Thriller ^^ I know what you mean about not trusting the show, although I have some faith in some of the writers. It's the overal arch (if there is one) that worries me.

Yeah, Naya Riviera's voice is good, if only because it manages to keep some character throughout all the autotuning. But I really don't trust the writers at all. Which isn't that bad, it just means I can be pleasantly surprised by scenes like the Santana/Brittany one.
