I. It's the time of year of Season finales! The Chuck one was great, I thought. I am happy they got renewed, but I'm also happy it'll be the last season. It's getting slightly repetitive. But I still like it a lot and I still like Chuck/Sarah though I seem to be a minority. Chuck is one of those shows where I just see a lot of people having Opinions and Ships and Im sitting here in my corner of 'as long as they have wacky adventures I'm happy'. It's refreshing. See also: Community. I loved the Western episode, the Star Wars slightly less but that's probably because I'm not a Star Wars fan.

How I Met Your Mother is not a show I really love anymore, and I stop watching it regularly but there is always an afternoon I'm bored and catch up. And this season finale annoyed me by not giving us the mother again, but also managed to stir my buried Barney/Robin feelings. So I just know I'll be watching next season just to find out who the girl is. (I'm being vague because I don't want to spoiler cut for one sentence of himym because who even cares). But at least my thesis is finished and I'm confident it'll be good enough.

This week's Glee wasn't that great. I guess I need a cut after all. Spoilers for 'Funeral' )

II.Exams are coming up and we get no time off to study for them. I'm not feeling very confident about it all, because I have 7 of them, and not a very good schedule (I am especially dreading English Grammar because it is the third time I'm doing the exam and I don't know it any better than last time :/)

III.Music! Some things I have been liking recently: I bought 21 by Adele and while I was listening to it on my way home on my bike, I had a great moment when Hiding My Heart came on. It was the first time I heard this song and it almost made me cry. Which is awkward when in public (there were just a few people fishing in the river around though so it was okay :P). The whole album is great, actually.
I have also (belatedly) fallen in love with Florence & The Machine, mainly because of The Hardest of Hearts, which is amazing and beautiful and I will probably listen to it a few dozen times in the next few days.

IV.Name a fandom, and I will tell you a) my three favorite romantic relationships, b) my three favorite non-romantic relationships, and c) one character combination (either shippy or non-shippy) I wish got more attention in canon.

About ME, starring Belgium, movies, dreams and minor spoilers for Being Human S3 )

II. You know how I always say I only watch Glee for the music, and the plot and characterization sucks but I don't care because I don't get attached to ships etc?
cut for people who are VERY SENSITIVE about Glee spoilers - you know who you are. Just a cast spoiler for next episode )

I. I've been watching Community because of the campaigning over on Fandom March Madness for Troy. So I just want to say: the season two Christmas episode is the BEST THING EVER. Which is, admittedly, only a slightly better thing than the zombie episode and the paintball episode. I love it when the go meta on that show (which is a lot of the time). Also, Abed and Troy have the most epic bromance ever. I love them.

And I am developing a serious girlcrush on Alison Brie.

II. Glee season one was airing on tv yesterday (the episode "Hello") and I'd put it on for a little while. My mum, who has never even heard of Glee let alone seen anything of it, came by and watched about 5 minutes and this happened:

Mum: "Is the music the only good thing about this show?"

Me:"...Basically, yes."

I love that she figured that out after 5 minutes. I mean, it took me a few episodes to fully realise that!

III. I watched the Doctor Who Children in Need special, and I also listened to the dvd commentary for Sherlock. These two things basically represent perfectly my conflicted feelings on Steven Moffat.
I'm not sure who I should warn because there is both Moffat love and hate here )

I.Veronica is facing off against Eleven. I LOVE Doctor Who, as you know, but I am asking you all to VOTE VERONICA!!

Because she is amazing and fierce and strong and sassy, and I love her more than pretty much any character, ever. That includes all DW characters. She needs all the votes she can get!

II. Glee was interesting this week! It was pretty much equal parts bad and amazing:

spoilers for 'Sexy'  )

I. And again, it's been a while! I'm going to stop apologising for things I don't do. I'm annoying myself. ;)

I've had two great weeks. I caught up with friends, made a short film which was a lot of fun to do, and turned 20 (on february fourth). Which is a slightly scary age, I think. I no longer have the excuse of being a teenager when I'm stupid or childish, woe.:/
This past week, I went to the coast for a few days where I mainly stood on the beach in the wind (which is FUN and always makes me feel better) and read. I finished Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, which was better than I expected. Also read The Hours by Michael Cunningham, which was alright, but not as good as I expected (but maybe I just wasn't in the right mindset for it). I'm currently reading Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie (have to read it for school).

Today has mainly been spent going through the Tumblr posts I missed. That has taken me HOURS. But of course I had to do it, because what if the most exquisite picture known to mankind had been on my dash and I missed it? :O
Yeah, I'm slightly addicted :P

II. Tv-wise, I'm catching up on Chuck, which I abandoned a while ago in the middle of S2. I'm now up to 3x09 and I'm really in to it again. Not really fannish but it's a fun show and I enjoy it. And where ususally will-they-or-won't-they annoys the hell out of me, with Chuck/Sarah I really like it.It seems more natural than, say, Booth/Brennan or Castle/Beckett.
The episodes are really diverse, as well. It doesn't feel like a procedural, even though the plots tend to have a similar structure.

III. Reaction to some other episodes:

Being Human 3x3: 'Type 4'  )

Glee 2x12: Silly Love Songs )
