2010-05-31 15:22 Day 17: Favourite mini series
Brideshead Revisited . So this is pretty old (1981) but I love it with all my heart! Especially the beginning and the end. (The middle goes on for a bit). It is such an intricate, slowly moving, utterly British show, and stays very loyal to the book.
So if you don't know it,
( short summary )
I just adore this story, especially because of how Anthony Andrews plays Sebastian. He is, as you may have seen a few days ago, one of my favourite people in fictional history! I love the book as well, and I think this show is a perfect interpretation. Last year, a movie was made, and it was...not quite comparable.
There are also a lot of similarities between Charles/Sebastian (not that I ever shipped them!) and Remus/Sirius. I'm still not sure if I love R/S so much because they remind me of them, or if I just have a huge love in general for teenage British boys, where one is kind of quiet and bookish and the other one is rich, pretty, destructive and from a crazy family...

List-O-Men
1. Bold the names of guys you’d definitely get with.
2. Italicize the names of guys you might get with after a little persuasion.
3. Leave the guys who don’t do anything for you alone.
4. Put a question (?) mark after the guys you’ve never heard of.
5. Strike the guys you wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole.
6. Add three guys to the list.
( long list, mostly of people I don' know )
+ My three additional ones:
Bradley James
Gaspard Ulliel
Richard Armitage
