Don't forget me, Sarah Jane

I have never watched an episode of SJA, nor have I ever wanted to. To be honest, most of the time I forget it exists. I don't especially like Sarah Jane Smith and it all looks very childish.
 

Apparently, RTD realized some people might feel this way, so he made David Tennant do an episode, so that EVERYONE MUST WATCH. Well played.
 

Anyway, I enjoyed it. I do think I would have enjoyed just about anything at this point, because it has been so long. Every time The Doctor said "welll", or used his sonic, or even looked a certain way, I would be beaming away. I have missed him!

Not much to say about the episode itself, really. It mainly made me giggle a lot when everything started glowing, or they started giving ~fire and ice ~ speeches. But that's why I love it.
They did manage to once again make it clear that it is impossible to have a love life if you're defending the Earth. At least he wasn't evil.

Other small remarks:

* A character says "I love you' and his lover responds with... "I LOVE YOU TOO"! Thus reaffirming that this is the happy one of the threesome.

* Sarah Jane is being led into a trap by an evil alien who just wants her to get married to the man she loves => The Doctor does everything he can to stop it and crashes her wedding.
vs
Evil race of aliens wants a large part of Earth's children to use as drugs and Torchwood is helpless, people are dying everywhere => The Doctor is ashamed and ignores earth for a while

* Ten is going to DIE anvils: Do Not Want!! But is was cute that he came back to say goodbye

* The Trickster actually looks scarier than most Who-villans. The mouth was freaking me out.

In other news: rs_small_gifts has started claiming :D This is only the second community I'm really taking actively part in. My wish has been claimed, which I'm very very excited about. I've also claimed one, which I'm mostly nervous about. It's not like this is my first time writing this pairing (in fact, including unpublished fics on my hard drive, my word count is massive),so I hope I'll be inspired and i'll be able to make something good out of it.
