I. The Social Network fandom is taking over my LIFE. I didn't even like the movie that much! But then someone recced a fic and I read it and then another and another and this is getting into full blown obsessive territory.
It's like a mixture of it being quite a good movie, boys being tragic, and Jesse Eisenberg and Andrew Garfield being stupidly adorable. Seriously, though, their bromance is the best thing ever. And Andrew Garfield totally ships Eduardo/Mark (and Jesse/himself).

And now I spend my days reading ridiculous fic where Eduardo owns a bakery and it's all about muffins and pony-shaped cookies and SO ADORABLE. Why does this always happen to me.
This fandom is also one of those where RPF isn't looked down on as much (mostly because Jesse and Andrew keep talking about "how did you fall in love with me" and "I love him' and how great Jesse's face is). So idk, usually I'm really not that interested in RPF (I tried to read Bradley/Colin but it made me feel uncomfortable). So I tried again and there have been one or two fics I quite liked because they were really great. So not as anti-RPF as I thought.
I know I have people on my flist who love it and people who hate it, and I guess I'm kind of in the middle? In theory I don't like it at all, but sometimes there'll be a fic to change my mind.

II. I am boring. Nothing else is going on in my life :P. I have a lot of homework which I'm not doing because I prefer reading TSN fic. I've gotten my exam schedule and it's really bad, because I have three exams on three consecutive days :(. The Easter Holiday is basically going to be nothing but writing papers and studying. I hope I'm not as obsessed with this stupid fandom by then because it will not end well.

I'm also slowly still watching The West Wing - I'm at 1x11. I pretty much like all the characters (except possibly Mandy?) and I'm enjoying it.
And Downton Abbey is on belgian tv. I liked the first episode and I'm looking forward to the rest of it.

III. Mad Men got renewed! Yay! And without any cuts in the cast, thank god. I'm working on a big Mad Men post that will probably never be posted, but it is keeping me busy.

Yes! I've got a bunch of great fics saved already, so I will certainly be ready when you get there ;). As far as interviews go, they're pretty much adorable in every single one. ;)

I'm not really heavily into TSN fic on account of the fact that I'm scarily mono-fannish (through no choice of my own), but yeah, if I weren't into Merlin still, I'd definitely be into TSN. Jesse and Andrew are adooorable and I just want to squish their faces.

I tend to jump from ship to ship very quickly, so I'll probably be over them in a few months. But yeah, they are both extremely adorable and take the whole bromance thing up to another level :P. And the fic is so good. ;)

Joan has great outfits, they are stunning.

I quite like Danny, yes! I think he and CJ are adorable. The whole goldfish thing was hilarious :D.

Oh man, the Social Network! I just rewatched it tonight with my mum, actually, and I think I love it more with every rewatch. It's very smartly written and very smoothly put together. And the boys! Hearts in my eyes all the way. Also the soundtrack. I wish Trent Reznor would score my life.

I'm thinking about getting into the fandom (and maybe writing for it), but not really sure where to start dipping my toes. Could you hook a girl up with some good Mark/Eduardo recs?

This is my Delicious tag for Mark/Eduardo (http://www.delicious.com/10imd/pairing%3Amark%2Feduardo). I have about 8 fics bookmarked now that I really liked so it's a good place to start.

The bakery!AU (http://moogle62.livejournal.com/115335.html#cutid1) is unfortunately a WIP but it's got quite a few parts already and it is the most adorable thing ever, seriously. The fluff is overwhelming :P

And there's great fic where they wake up married in Vegas (it's better than it sounds) at the kinkmeme. It's bit all over the place which is why I haven't put it in my bookmarks yet. The first parts are here (http://community.livejournal.com/tsn_kinkmeme/390.html?thread=54918#t54918) and it is continued here (http://community.livejournal.com/tsn_kinkmeme/4861.html?thread=6924797#t6924797).

I hope this helps you get started! XD

I. Heee, new fandoms can be so fun :) But time-consuming as well, unfortunately. And my opinion on RPF tends to change too ... IDK. Sometimes I'm fine with it, sometimes I'm not.

II. Booo at lots of homework D: How's your bachelor thesis writing going, BB?

I'm watching Downton Abbey as well. I liked yesterday's episode.

III. YAYAYAYAY AM SO EXCITED :D

Bachelor thesis is going okay. My first part is finished and the prof said it was good. I've got to finish the whole thing by the end of the month so I'm postponing it until the Easter break - I'm pretty much postponing everything until then which probably isn't the best idea :/.

Yeah, I liked last night's Downton Abbey too. I'm just waiting to see more of Sybil because apparently she's awesome. :)

Really? I've never seen the movie, so I'm not really sure about the fandom. Another thing I need to see apparently :p Have fun though :p you see enough of it now you might be able to do some actual work during Easter Break ^^

Hooray for Mad Men though! ^^

The movie is quite good but I wasn't IN LOVE with it or anything. And I certainly didn't really ship it. But on the other hand, the acting is great and I felt so sorry for the characters that I kind of wanted fix-it fic, and then I read one and didn't...stop. ;)
I do hope I'll be over them by next week. :/

I. You said absolutely everything I think about The Social Network. That movie was so tragic. (But Jesse Eisenberg ♥)
You read the bakery!AU too? Wasn't it the best thing ever? I love fics with Dustin being so present and hilarious and Mark is talking exactly like in the movie and Eduardo is adorable and affkjhjgdsg this fic! *_* So. Good.

III. You know I need this Mad Men post in my life! :)

Urgh, that bakery fic was so good. I didn't think I'd love AU in this fandom but they're still in character and just...my heart. And Dustin is hilarious, I love him so.

I know! It will exist, someday. ;)
