Hello goodbye

I.My laptop has been fixed! I wish I could say this means I am back, but I'm leaving again tomorrow :P. I'm going to the Summerfilmcollege, where we spend a whole week in a cinema going to lectures and seeing a LOT of films, from 9 am to about midnight. I participated two years ago and it was one of the best times of my life, so I'm really looking forward to doing it again! It's in Antwerp, and a friend of mine is letting me stay at her student's room...thing for the week (she isn't there, she's at home with her parents). It will be exhausting but fun. :D
I'm not taking my laptop though, because I won't have time to us it anyway. So it's a week without internet for me. Hopefully nothing too exciting happens while I'm gone.
II. I did quite a lot of reading this last week and I finished A Clash of Kings!

- My favourites remain the same, though I think I am changing my absolute favourite from Dany to Sansa. Because idk, Dany is consistently awesome, but her main character growth seems to have happened in GoT when she went from Viserys' little sister to the Khaleesi and Mother of Dragons, while Sansa is developing more slowly and is therefore really keeping me interested in her arc.
- It was a very Tyrion-heavy book, so thank God I love him because it seemed like there was a Tyrion chapter for every other POV character.
- The Lannisters in general are my favourite family though, and if there is anything in these books I ship it's Jame/Cersei. So far we haven't had all that much on the both of them but any scene one of these two is in is the best.
- From the new characters there isn't really anyone I have all that many feelings on (yet). After the Lannisters, my favourite family is probably the Baratheons, though that's just in this book because I like all the family dynamics and they were new and interesting. I kind of like Stannis? You know, 'like' in the asoiaf way where there is nobody you'd want as a friend but you love reading about them :P. I also liked Renly, but I think GRRM noticed :/.
- Asha Greyjoy seems cool though. Theon on the other hand is kind of hilarious in his attempts to be a serious player :P. When he isn't killing children, I guess that's not so hilarious :S. I don't have any feelings on Brienne yet, and other than that I can't think of new characters? Well Davos, but he's... meh. Just kind of there.
- I am avoiding spoilers like crazy and so far it is working, so I know NOTHING of the next books. I bought A Storm of Swords yesterday and I was going to wait to start it until I've read another book (I promised myself I'd always read one Asoiaf - one other book) but apparently there is Jaime POV :O I REALLLLLLLY WANT JAIME POV IN MY LIFE.

Date: 2011-07-24 02:21 (UTC)and davos becomes much better and is probably one of the four main characters of the series.
