I.So you know how last time I posted about Sherlock I warned people who loved it to stay away? I think now I'll warn people who hated it to stay away (WHO HATED IT, COME ON :o).
So that episode was wonderful. Who knew Steve Thompson had it in him, huh? I adored the acting, especially Andrew Scott as Moriarty. Benedict and Martin deserve every BAFTA in the world, AND to brag about winning every BAFTA in the world.
I don't even care that much about this show and it got to me big time, so I can't imagine what it's like for people who are huge fans or shippers. I really want to rewatch the ep and especially the last half hour because the acting and the words (SERIOUSLY, STEVE THOMPSON?) but I can't get myself to do it because of the emotions.
And I also give you: a fanvid (when I get to the stage of watching fanvids on youtube and sobbing over them you know it's a big deal
I kind of really want a long plotty fic where Watson starts a whole investigation because he knows something doesn't add up (with help from Lestrade and cameos by Mycroft and Molly who know very well what's up and try to stop them) and finds out Sherlock isn't dead and then punches him in the face.
I'd write it myself if I could do plot . :/
So if anyone already knows of good reunion fic I would...not be averse to that.
II. Speaking of writing: 10 page paper that has to be finished by tomorrow is currently 4 pages long and NOT growing longer. I'm tempted to just add long quotes from academic sources, that's always good right? :)
I'm really in a writing mood, though. Just not paper-related :( I kind of feel inspired for the first time in forever to work on my novel of doom / eternal WIP (which is a collection of interludes atm because I CANNOT DO PLOT. Like, the plot exists in my head but whenever I try to write it I end up writing introspection or 'babbling over tea'-scenes).

I hope the paper has gone well! I know how hard it can be to write a paper when you want to write fic instead, which you should do! I know plot is difficult... I usually end up with introspection or 'babbling over tea' scenes too, I mean, really, the stuff I've written for Merlin has basically either Merlin monologuing the plot or Leon explaining it to everyone *facepalm*

Date: 2012-01-22 18:06 (UTC)Maybe I'll try Sherlock fic someday (I'm really in a writing mood so I guess it could happen) but I doubt the epic plotty thing I have in my head will ever exist. :)
